How to Delete Your Data

Art Show Tracker provides a simple way for you to delete all your data directly within the app.

  Steps to Request Data Deletion:

  1. Open the Art Show Tracker app on your Android device
  2. Navigate to the Settings screen (tap the gear icon in the navigation bar)
  3. Scroll to the Support section
  4. Tap “Delete All My Data”
  5. Review the confirmation dialog and tap “Delete All My Data” to confirm

  Your data will be deleted immediately upon confirmation.

What Data is Deleted

When you request data deletion, the following information is permanently removed:

  •   Local Device Data (Deleted Immediately):
    All artwork records (titles, notes, sale prices, creation dates)
  • All artwork images stored on your device
  • All show/exhibition records (titles, locations, dates, notes, contact information)
  • All sales records (amounts, dates, buyer information, payment methods)
  • All app preferences and settings (except theme preference)
  • All trial and subscription status data

  Cloud Data (Deleted Within 24 Hours):

  • All synced artwork data in Firebase Firestore/iCloud
  • All synced show data in Firebase Firestore/iCloud
  • All synced sales data in Firebase Firestore/iCloud
  • All artwork images stored in Firebase/iCloud Storage

  Analytics Data:

  •   Anonymous usage analytics collected by Firebase Analytics are retained for 90 days according to Google’s Firebase data retention policy, then automatically deleted.

What Data is NOT Deleted

  • Theme preference (light/dark mode setting) – This is preserved to maintain your visual preference
  • Purchase receipts – Your Google Play purchase history is managed by Google and remains in your Google Play account

  according to Google’s policies.

Data Deletion is Permanent

Important: Once you delete your data, this action cannot be undone. All your artworks, shows, and sales records will be permanently lost.

If you use Art Show Tracker on multiple devices (Android, iOS, or macOS), deleting data on one device will remove all synced data from the cloud, affecting all your devices.

No Account Required for Deletion

Art Show Tracker does not require user accounts or authentication. All data deletion happens locally within the app without needing to contact support or verify your identity.
